South Sudan: DTM South Sudan — Udici Payam | Jur River County Registration Preliminary figures — June 2016

IOM completed the registration of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Udici Payam of Jur River County resulting in a total of 5,146 individuals or 1,718 households (preliminary figures). Skirmishes in the neighboring Besselia Payam of Wau County from February 2016 affected part of Udici Payam. Cross-border incursions between SPLA forces including cattle keepers and opposition forces has caused people bordering the southern and western parts of Udici Payam in Jur River County to be displaced into Gette, Atido, Agok and Akol where four new IDPs sites have been established along the main Wau and Aweil road.
