South Sudan: South Sudan: Internally Displaced Children, by County (16 December 2015)

As of 4 November 2015, the OCHA Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Count Monitor reported a total of 1.66 Million IDPs in the country; out of these, an estimate of more than 886,000** are children, spread across 53 of the 79 counties.
Children are especially affected and vulnerable as a result of the crisis, hence the need to strengthen support for Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) interventions in South Sudan.
